Chef - Norbert Bell

Executive Chef Norbert Bell has 27 years experience in the industry, beginning as an apprentice chef in Austria. Norbert has worked in many parts of the world including Switzerland, Israel, Philippines, Malaysia and Australia.

Norbert was trained in classic French cuisine, however he likes to incorporate his passion and knowledge for Asian and Mediterranean food into his menus, which is reflected in the style found in Aqua restaurant. Norbert’s dishes have a distinctively unique edge and combine to create a taste sensation.

Norbert has headed the team at Cumberland Lorne Resort for the past 5 years and is responsible for the entire kitchen operations including Aqua Restaurant and Bar and the Conference Centre.
